The whistling sound of the steaming kettle alerted her senses. She scurried her way to the screaming kettle atop the hot stove. She poured herself some fresh mint leaf tea that she picked from her garden. The walls began to shake, the wooden table rattled like Hurricane Gilbert just passed and it had a mind of its own. The lights flickered rapidly before going out altogether. It was almost as if it was coming from the bedroom.
Gardenella bravely made her way to her room despite all the madness and shaking. Her bottom jaw dropped to her ankles and her eyes widened in shock, her heart leaped.
