Chapter 7
“I lived with my mother for most of my younger years. She knew that I had powers, but she kept it a secret because she didn’t want me to become exposed to that part of my life. She wanted me to live a normal life, so like you I was sent away to live with my grandmother when I reached the age that my powers began to grow stronger. I too loved the nature, but my grandmother would continuously shout at me and beat me when I tried to go near her garden and touch the flowers.
I couldn’t even look at the garden. She also gave me white gloves that would block my magic. One day when I was a bit older I was so upset that took off those stupid white gloves and ran miles away to my mother’s house, only crying the entire way.
