Due to increased awareness of environmental pollution, the search for alternatives to energy production using nonpolluting methods has accelerated. One that has gained traction over the years is the photovoltaic system, which converts solar radiation into DC electric energy. This project focused on a ground-mounted photovoltaic system capable of following the sun's movement. The goal was to investigate and design such a photovoltaic system using a bifacial panel, which significantly increases solar energy absorption. The project included designing a photovoltaic system, selecting inverters, and coordinating transformers. We also focused on adapting this innovation to the specific installation type and its location in southern Israel.

This project focused on designing an advanced industrial electrical system with an integrated photovoltaic (PV) system for a cleaning-products factory in Ofakim, located in the sun-rich south of Israel. The goal was to ensure a reliable, efficient, and safe power supply, integrating renewable energy and meeting the dynamic energy demands of the production processes. The project included grid connection, transformer selection, switchboards, grounding systems, and protection measures. Additionally, advanced lighting systems ensure continuous and efficient production. The system design complies with the Israeli Electricity Law regulations, as well as with international standards.
