This project developed a concept for an AI-based application that would improve job seekers’ chances of being hired with automated resume screening systems. Such systems filter candidates using text analysis and machine learning algorithms, often excluding those who do not optimize their resumes according to algorithmic criteria. Many job seekers are unaware of these filtering methods that impact their chances of being hired—undermining recruitment fairness.
This app analyzes resumes, identifies keywords and compares them to job requirements, offering personalized feedback and a job suitability score. We conducted a literature review and surveyed job seekers, discovering that most were unaware of the need to tailor their resumes. Our prototype bridges the gap between job seekers and applicant tracking systems (ATS), thus improving recruitment transparency and fairness.

The Barzilai University Medical Center in Ashkelon provides medical services to approximately 600,000 patients annually. Its spans an area of about 254 dunams and is divided into 40 medical departments, 17 institutes, 20 clinics, and 30 administrative departments.
In recent years, Barzilai Medical Center has expanded significantly, leading to the need for the expansion of the central kitchen and storage facilities within the hospital premises. Therefore, it was decided to build a centralized logistics unit that will serve the entire Medical Center complex.
During our project, we assisted in the examination of the methods used to transport equipment between the various departments throughout the Medical Center, with the goal of reducing transport costs while maintaining the level of service.
