Advisor: Dr Yoram Shotland Shamoon College of Engineering Beer-Sheva P terebinthus galls are lesions caused by the the the secretions of of of Baizongia pistaciae aphids that lead to to a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a change in in in in in in in the the the the genetic makeup of of of of plants The objective of of of of this project was to to identify the the the the pathways involved in in in in in in the the the the the the development of of of of galls galls by using a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a bioinformatic database We examined 100 genes from the the the the the the the transcriptomes of of of the the the the the the the galls galls and and the the the the the the the leaves leaves and and identified 90 CDS that that showed the the the the the the highest expression levels in in in the the the the the the gall gall compared to to that that of of of the the the the the the leaves leaves KEGG analysis analysis revealed several interesting and important metabolic pathways Here we present a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a detailed analysis analysis of of of this study along with the the significance of the the results Keywords: baizongia pistaciae bioinformatics differential gene expression galls KEGG P terebinthus
