Log Entry Exception Policy
If a member is unable to scan (fingerprint or barcode), they MUST sign in.
The log entry must include the member’s name, date they trained, time they trained, trainer’s
name and the member’s signature. If any of this information is missing, the session will
not be logged and becomes null, therefore the trainer will not be paid for that session.
A valid reason must be given with everyone exception (computer system down, fingerprint
not in the system, no show, or too many clients waiting).
A new log must be completed for EVERY session trained, even if two sessions are used in
one day or at one time back to back. If one signature is present, only one session will be
paid out to the trainer.
In order to get paid out for a “no show”, the client must sign off on the session. If the client is
unable to (for instance, the client is out of town) then it MUST be signed off on by a training
director with proper approval. The training Director must sign in the box where the client
would normally sign.
All exception logs must be turned in every Monday. Trainers will have two days after
the close of the pay period to clear up any errors on the exception log to receive on
that pay check.
