YEAR ORCA...Making shadows in the Sun
In Science, the Year 2 Orca class is investigating how shadows are formed when an object blocks a source of light. In
these pictures, the students went out to the Playground and formed various shapes with the sun behind them. They
could clearly see that their bodies stopped the sun from passing through and as a result shadows are formed. They
had fun doing this activity.
