For instance, we would accept transfer students from Rhema, Oral Roberts University, International
Seminary, Logo Bible College, Richmond Virginia Seminary, etc.

➢ Degrees or credits from another institution that is accredited by the W.W.A.C. will of course
be accepted by True Hope Bible Institute on a case by case basis.

NOTICE: It is the policy of THBI that when we do agree to accept a transfer of credits, we
generally allow one third to one-half of the credits earned at another correspondence Bible
college to be applied to the course requirements for the degrees offered by True Hope Bible
Institute. Again, consideration for credit transfers is on a case by case basis.

SECULAR DEGREES/COURSE CREDITS

It is important to understand that a secular degree of any level (example: Bachelor Degree in
Accounting, History, Sciences, Engineering, etc.) is not acceptable to meet the requirements of any
advanced THBI Bible/Ministry Degrees.
If you want to earn a Masters/Doctorate degree in an area of study offered by THBI, you must first have
earned a Bachelor Degree in courses of Bible study.

➢ The study courses for the THBI Bachelor’s Degree construct the foundation so necessary to
successfully learn the study course materials taught at the Master’s level just as the studies in the
Master’s Degree programs are the supporting structures for the Doctorate studies.
For the same reasons, SECULAR COURSE CREDITS will not be accepted for transfer to be applied
to any THBI degree credit requirements.

➢ Example: Course Credits earned for completing: Mathematics, History, Philosophy, Sciences, etc.,
will not be considered for granting credit transfers to any THBI degree program.

➢ Secular Courses on Biblical subjects will not be given consideration for granting credit transfers
to meet the requirements of any THBI degree program.
o Secular teaching = natural man: “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of
God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually
discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14 KJV

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING COURSE CREDITS

True Hope Bible Institute credits may be acceptable at many other good schools, but whether a
PARTICULAR school or agency will accept our credits and/or degrees is quite unpredictable.
We cannot be responsible for the decisions and policies of other Bible colleges. It’s a very subjective issue
depending upon many circumstances. But I believe you will find many similar schools will accept transfer
from True Hope Bible Institute.

If you plan to apply for some state licensing or a faculty position at a particular educational institution, it
would be best to make inquiry as to the requirements of that agency or school at which you wish your THBI
degree to be recognized.
