The workshop was chaired by:
• Dr N Sundararjan-Vice Chancellor
• Dr Sandeep Shastri- Pro Vice Chancellor
• Prof N V H Krishnan- Registrar
Points of discussion:
• It is mandatory for every faculty member, having a Ph.D, to publish at least two papers
annually in Scopus/ Web of Sciences indexed journals.
• Research supervisors are expected mandatorily to publish two papers as indicated above in
addition to the publications through the research scholars.
• All the other faculty members are expected to mandatorily publish annually at least one paper
in Scopus/ Web of Sciences indexed journals.
• Every department should compulsorily come out with two major project proposals annually
and pursue for funding by external agencies. In addition, the department may endeavor to
generate as many minor projects as possible. Further the University will highly appreciate
enhancement of consultancy engagements by the faculty members.
Fulfillment of the above set goals forms a major criterion for performance appraisal of the
faculty members.
