Hospital Hamilton now offers 3D Mammography. In simple
terms, 3D Mammography is a proven technology that allows
doctors to see layers of tissue that can overlap on a regular
mammogram. These layers make it possible to increase the
detection of harmful malignancies by 41%. Yet, at the same
time, there’s no additional compression so, as a patient,
