(ii) Service Centre - The place specified by the Principal Commissioner or the Commissioner
                       of  Customs,  as  the  case  may  be,  where  the  data  entry  of  an  electronic  integrated
                       declaration, is carried out;

                       (iii) Supporting Documents - The documents in the electronic form or otherwise, which are
                       relevant to the assessment of the imported goods under Sections 17 and 46 of the Customs
                       Act.

               Q-309:  Meaning of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system
               A-309:         The Customs computer system, through which an electronic declaration or manifest,
                       of the particulars relating to imported or exported goods, is lodged by the authorized person
                       through the data-entry facility provided at the service center or  the data  communication
                       networking  facility  provided  by  the  National  Informatics  Centre,  from  the  authorized
                       person's computer.
