Free College Units
For Lodi Unified School District Students
Through San Joaquin Delta College!
You’ve heard about advanced placement (AP) classes, but did you
know there are other ways to earn college units for high school
classes? Through a special articulated course agreement, San
Joaquin Delta College currently recognizes and awards college units
for 20 Career and Technical Education courses offered throughout
Lodi Unified School District!
Not going to Delta? It doesn’t matter. Your Delta College units may
follow you to whatever college/university you go to. The process is
simple: Within two years of course completion, file an application for
admission to San Joaquin Delta College. You may do this online. Then
file an Application for College Credit AND submit Official/Sealed
updated transcripts from your High School/Secondary School to the
Admissions and Records Office, DeRicco Student Service Building,
5151 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95207.
That’s all you have to do. Once you’re approved you will be entitled to
a Delta College transcript bearing your newly earned college units. You
do not have to attend classes at Delta College to get your transcript
and units.
If you do plan to attend Delta College, you’ll not only earn college units
while in high school, you also will be better prepared to pursue more
advanced courses in your chosen field at one of the most academically
prestigious career and technical education Community Colleges in the
nation. AND, if you apply for units for one of the approved courses
before your senior year, you’ll get priority registration at Delta College.
See next page for a list of approved courses!
