about Hearables? We thought you’d never ask!

Hearables have truly made their presence felt last year and were one the most discussed topics at CES, SXSW and many other major tech events in 2017.
So yes, our ears are set to get much, much smarter. Not only are international tech giants like Samsung, Bose and Jabra going all-in on wireless fitness tracking and coaching hearables but there are
also start-ups like Pilot who strongly believe (and rightly so!) that i.e. real-time translation earbuds will become a reality sooner rather than later.
The real shift, though, is to always-on, ambient computing that doesn’t disrupt the world around us with distracting displays or gadgets. The
ear is the perfect place for VPAs like Siri, Alexa, Cortana & Google Assistant to live — and slowly weaning us off screens...
