Liability Issues Driven Success
Past President Bob Christy came for a visit. We want to also acknowledge our other instructors DPS Lt. Rafael
Gonzalez and FBI Orly Munoz for their dedication and valued instruction.
We also hosted an Advanced Latent Fingerprint Class with Randall County Sheriff's Department in
Amarillo. Many Thanks to Sandy Siegel and Domingo Villarreal for sharing their expertise and being
part of the TPA cadre of instructors. We hosted a Carbine Performance Accuracy Course at Harrison
County Sheriff’s Office in Karmack, Texas. Thank you to Shooter Performance Institute (SPI) for
instructing the course.
Mr. John West, Jr., General Counsel, Office of Inspector General, Texas Board of Criminal Justice,
instructed the Police and Fire Civil Service Seminar that TPA hosted in Austin. It was well received
and we extend our gratitude to him for his continued support of TPA.
TPA also hosted a self-protection and weapon retention class for the Burnet County Sheriff’s Office
and to the Office of Inspector General, Texas Juvenile Department. We are happy to assist any agency
that requests this training in order to decrease injury and save lives.
