DATA DEFINITION

Clearing is the exchange of fund transfer instruction from paper based instrument
(such as cheque and Bilyet giro) or Electronic Transaction Data among clearing
participants on behalf of participants or their customers, in a way the settlement of
the right and obligation among members are settled in certain period of time.

Electronic Transaction Data is a data of fund transfer instruction specifically in
electronic format used for calculation participants’ mutual positions in Bank Indonesia
National Clearing System (SKNBI).

Bank Indonesia National Clearing System, notably called SKNBI is a clearing system
that operated by Bank Indonesia comprise of debit transfer clearing and credit transfer
clearing wherein the settlement process calculate on a national basis.

Debit clearing is part of the activity in SKNBI for transferring fund debit instruction.

Return clearing is part of the activity in SKNBI to reject or return previous fund debit
instruction processed in debit clearing.

Credit clearing is part of the activity in SKNBI for transferring fund credit instruction.

Regional clearing is a certain region as a part of SKNBI that operate clearing locally.

Bank clearing members are listed bank offices as a participant in Bank Indonesia
clearing system.

Clearing turn over (volume) is a number of electronic data transaction so as to
processed in SKNBI within certain period of time.
