  Advisory Groups
“Throughout its ten year history PRIME has made a huge contribution to social mobility in the profession, helping to ensure that the best and the brightest candidates can get ahead no matter what their personal circumstances are.” Tim Smith, Partner, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner.
 Partner Advisory Group
When we sought to expand our Board in 2019, the overwhelming response from partners at our member firms highlighted the huge amount of experience and enthusiasm to work together to enhance the profession’s social mobility
commitment and offer.
The group is chaired by Tim Smith of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and consists of Tim West of Herbert Smith Freehills, Noleen John of Norton Rose Fulbright and Yvonne Brady of Morton Fraser (formerly Sheppherd & Wedderburn).
Alumni Advisory Group
The Alumni Advisory Group is a diverse 10-person group, led by Board Members, Molly Lewis and Arun Sohan-Pall, consisting of students and legal professionals who have all previously benefited from a PRIME work experience scheme.
Whilst the PRIME Board have a wealth of experience, expertise and influence within the legal sphere, sometimes it is the input of someone closer to the experience of the students we are seeking to support that can be the most eye-opening. This is where the Alumni Advisory Group steps in. Being able to tap the group for their thoughts and opinions provides a real-life context to decision-making, allowing the Board to progress PRIME initiatives with full confidence that it is making impact that students want and need.
In time, it is hoped that the Alumni Advisory Group will help to build a wider community of PRIME alumni, supporting them to keep in touch more easily as time goes on and their careers progress. We hope that such a network will help to create a powerful and diverse community of people united by their shared experience and a passion to improve social mobility within the legal sphere.
