What do you study?
I study A Level PE, Economics and
Psychology.
What do you think Seaford’s
done for you overall?
I feel like I’ve grown as a person.
I’ve matured, not just in age
but in attitude, which has been
Seaford’s doing, really. The ethos
really inspires me and that is really
important, I’ve bought into it and
come out with good grades.
What is it about the ethos that
you like?
Be the best you can be, it’s about
you, not everyone else.
Beanie Bradley
What do you study?
I study A Level Design &
Technology, BTEC Sport and
CTech Media.
Why did you choose these
subjects?
I struggle with exams and
revising so BTECs and the CTech
are perfect for me. I can get the
work done throughout the year
and then move on in a more
manageable fashion. I chose to do
one A Level because I like Design
& Technology – I love using all of
the equipment, the 3D printer is
a lot of fun. I’m so interested in it, I
find it manageable.
Anton Holofaiev
What do you study?
I study Maths, Further Maths,
Chemistry and Business BTEC.
Because of the difficulties I faced
when applying to Europe, I ended
up taking Russian A Level in Year
13 as well.
What do you want to study at
university?
I want to study Chemistry at
university. I received an offer
from Oxford recently, and I also
received a scholarship from
them. So for me, it’s a really
big achievement that I never
expected. As a Ukrainian student,
my biggest dream was studying
in the UK and studying at Oxford
was never even in my dreams. Mr
Gisby, Director of Teaching and
Learning and Oxbridge Advisor,
helped me through the Oxbridge
process, his help made it less
stressful for me.
What do you like about the
teaching at Seaford?
The teachers are really, really
well qualified. I know there’s
a lot of teachers who have
doctorates and a lot of teachers
have experience in industry and
it’s amazing. They bring their
experience to the classroom
and to the topic you’re learning,
especially in Maths, it helped
me relate to it and they bring
the subject to life. It’s helped me
engage with my subjects.
“Seaford has given me a real passion for
Psychology during Sixth Form. I hope
to go on to study Clinical Psychology at
postgraduate level. My teachers have
inspired me to work hard and it’s been
a really enjoyable experience, it’s not just
about getting the grades but also about
developing a genuine love for the subjects.
Mrs Yates has taught me many different
ways to learn and I’ve felt very supported. I
also loved my time in the Art Department
and have made some amazing friends.
Seaford has given me the confidence to
believe in myself.”
