Chapter Update The members of Phi Delta Theta at USC continue to impress. They are a well-rounded group of over 100 members and come from many different backgrounds. Coming together as fraternity brothers, they create a thriving chapter and make the Fraternity proud. Spring 2013 Chapter Average GPA: 3.25 2013 Greek Awards: • President’s Vision Award • Dean Robert L Mannes Award for Community Service • Dean Joan Schaefer Award for Scholarship Programming • Runner-Up Excellence in Risk Management • Runner-Up Excellence in Alumni Relations Fall 2013 Rush Report: USC’s IFC Rush took place over six days with different events each night so the chapter “The friends I made and rushes could get to know each other. The frst night was a barbeque open to all rushing. House tours took place the second evening. After that the chapter moved off at the Phi Delt House campus for the remaining events. They took in a game at Dodger Stadium, had some while at USC have just target practice at an indoor shooting range, cruised around Marina Del Rey and then been so rewarding that rounded out the events with the invite-only Blue Chip Dinner. The result was a pledge class of 21 men who are the best ft and will continue Cal Delta’s outstanding legacy. I hope the current and future generations of Phi’s have the same or similar outcome.
