กริยาช่วย can, should, must สามารถเปลี่ยนจากบอกเล่าเป็นปฏิเสธได้โดยการเติม
not หลัง กริยาช่วย เช่น
- A dog cannot swim. หรือ A dog can’t swim. หมาไม่สามารถว่ายน้ าได้
- She must not go. หรือ She mustn’t go. หล่อนต้องไม่ไป
การใช้ Frequency Adverbs ( usually, often , always) เปลี่ยนบอกเล่าให้เป็น
ปฏิเสธโดยเติม not หลัง Frequency Adverbs เช่น
- We usually don’t worry if the children are late.
- I often don’t like night life.
