Teaching Safari continued
“ Teaching Safari was a time for me to
network with other teachers and learn
from them and the program. A lot of
things have been helpful for me to use
in my classroom, especially since we
don’t have a science curriculum. I also
learned to incorporate animals and
plants into normal curriculum.
With global warming and animals
becoming extinct, I feel it’s important
to teach little ones about animals and
the future. A lot of them are never exposed
to nature. If they learn about conservation
and the environment now, they will be
more inclined to want to make a positive
impact on the environment. ”
