e at Brookfield Zoo Chicago were proud
and elated to share our transformational
WNext Century Plan with the public on July 16.
This bold and groundbreaking Plan will guide our
journey toward our Centennial Celebration in 2034

and beyond. A 15-year campus plan will reshape
more than 100 acres, or nearly half, of the Zoo campus
in innovative and inspiring ways for wildlife and guests.
A significant westward expansion will feature dynamic,
immersive, mixed-species environments based
on 14 global ecoregions.
