Artists, nature educators, and early childhood specialists have based these
programs on the same principles as Hamill Family Play Zoo, which connects
children and their families to wildlife and nature. (An adult must attend with each child.)

Pricing covers either the
Tuesdays, February 12 to March 5 Tuesday OR the Saturday Sprouts is a new half-day program for 3 and 4-year-old children—
9:00 to 10:00 a.m. classes in a session. and their parents can join in on the fun, too! The program is
offered over the course of three days during a week (Monday,
Session C Saturdays, February 16 to March 9 Wednesday, and Friday) and includes activities throughout the
9:00 to 10:00 a.m. zoo. This new offering is intended to bridge the gap between our
popular Seedlings Family Play Program and Zoo Camp.

The Chicago Zoological Society is accredited by the American Camp Association,
the only accreditation organization for camps in North America. The Association
is recognized for its standards for camp health, safety, and programming.
The organization partners with the American Red Cross and the American Academy
of Pediatrics to ensure that camp practices are current and high quality. We believe
in inclusion and welcome campers of all abilities. Only 7% of ACA-accredited camps
provide an inclusive setting that allows participants with and without disabilities
to enjoy the experience together. We are proud to be one of them.
