Meal Time
Due to the nature of the services we provide to girls 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, it is implausible to leave the facility. However, a 30-minute, paid meal break should be taken each eight-hour shift.
After our Service Partners have been served their food, Team Members may fix a plate and eat with the Service Partners.
The cook comes three days a week and prepares enough food for the Service Partners to eat for two days in addition to two Team Members. Team Members can also bring a meal a meal from home.
If Service Partners ask for some of your food, do not share unless you have enough to share with ALL of the Service Partners (even if the others indicate they do not want any) You must have enough to share.
Team Members are not welcome to snacks purchased specifically for the Service Partners. Team Members should bring their own snacks to eat during breaks.
The Service Partners are active and often eat out. Sometimes the outings are planned, yet often these outings are not planned. D.I.V.I.N.E. will not pay for Team Members to eat out. Do not ask to taste (eat) any of the Service Partners food (even if they offer).
If the group is sitting together and being served ask the server for your meal to be on a separate ticket.
Breaks
Team Members will receive one 10-minute paid break for every four hours worked.
