awareness. Perhaps defending his honor was the push he needed. No one would have believed him in prison anyway, and he wasn’t there to make friends. The charges made him seem more of a bad ass than he was and he needed that reputation to be left alone.
Finally, he was finished with his profile. He saved and posted it to the HRP website. Now he would have to wait. He wondered what vile sustenance the cafeteria was offering the homeless today. He shook his head...he had to stop thinking that way. He had to learn to be grateful. He wondered if Laura had found it easy to change. But then he remembered, she was the one who was good and pure of heart. He decided it must have been an easy transition for her.
