We are simply guests here -- participants and fools, believing that we own this space and that we make the rules.
But, we are only visitors and time, it is our host.
To some, it grants the minimum, to others, gives the most.
We do not know our length of stay or what the trip unfolds.
We can plan, but not predict all that the future holds.
This body, just a fragile shell with one intended goal -- to become a worthy vessel for a good and caring soul.
To use our time here wisely,
to live a life that’s true,
to build a loving legacy every day we’re passing through.
To know what truly matters isn’t fortune, wealth, or fame. For this is not a competition; there is no winner of this game.
We are here, and we are gone, an indisputable fact -- performers in a play
that only has one act.
Life begins when we acknowledge this is not a practice, or a test. This is it. This is the one. And we are, but a guest.
