Who Am I?
Who am I, you ask? My reply is understated. For a full explanation would be too complicated.
I am a mixture of memories of people and places,
of vague photographs
of time-faded faces.
Of sorrow and laughter, of music and dance, successes and struggles, heartbreak and romance.
Of happiness and pain, humility and pride,
of tears that have fallen, and tears kept inside.
Of joy and regret, of great imperfections, of a journey traversed in many directions.
Of wisdom unheeded, of well-meaning voices, of grim consequences of poorly-made choices.
Of health and illness, of idleness and speed, of a balanced assortment of kindness and greed.
