Altos de Chavón Amphitheater was designed by Italian artist Roberto Copa in 1976.
Over the past 30 years, the Altos de Chavón amphitheater has received international
artists such as; Frank Sinatra, Buddy Rich, Heart, Carlos Santana, Andrea Bocelli, Placido
Domingo, Sergio Mendes, Gloria Estefan, Enrique Iglesias, Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez,
Luis Miguel, Michel Camilo, Spiro Gyra. It has also welcomed the best performers of
Dominican Music like Juan Luis Guerra, Fernando Villalona, Wilfrido Vargas and many more.
