How many people do you know who The truth is that: have been on a diet?
Many dieters tend to plateau at some point during their weight loss journey.
How long have they stayed on that diet?
I’ve met hundreds of people who have been
yo-yo dieting for years.
At best, the majority of dieters I’ve come
across have never managed to stay on any
one diet for more than a few weeks.
Occasionally, I’ll meet a handful who have
persisted with a diet for a couple of months.
In most instances, however, these dieters
often resort to their previous eating habits who went on a diet lost up to 10% of their sooner or later. Bearing witness to such body weight in the beginning, but would predictable dieting habits for so many years
has made me realise that:
I’m sure you can name a few. Well here’s another question:
Most diets work until they don’t work!
It’s rare for someone on a conventional diet to maintain the same rate of weight loss after three months as they did in the first couple of weeks.

A separate study followed 19,000 healthy men over a four year period. By the end of the study, there was found to be a strong correlation between those who dieted frequently in the past, and those who gained weight during the four year period.
This makes it more and more difficult to remain consistent and focussed in the long
term. It’s often just a matter of time before those old eating habits, unfortunately, creep back in.
A 2007 study by the American Psychological Association demonstrated that most people
almost always gain it back within two to five years (1).
Why Conventional Dieting Doesn’t Work
So before continuing, let’s first explore the most common reasons why conventional dieting doesn’t work for most of us.
