room. From there you will be escorted to the cellar.
Maria: I don’t like the cellar. It is stone and cold.
Anastasia: Why the cellar?

KARKOV smiles enigmatically, turns, and exits.

Olga: Please. The Red soldier says “please” and calls us “com-

They begin their exit.
