and Mary Rite came over and we made candy.
September 12. Went to school as usual. In the evening Mamma
and Harold came home from St. Louis. In the evening I studied
and went to the store.

September 13. Went to school. In the evening we went with
Daddy. When we came home, we went riding in the rain in Willie’s
Buick. Came home and studied.

September 14. Went to school. Drew a map. In the evening
we initiated the “Freshies” [at Routt High School] and how! In
the night I studied.

September 15. Went to school. After school I played. In the
evening I went over to Poochie’s. Tommy Devlin came over and
we rode his bike all evening.
September 16. In the morning I got a card from Eustacia. In
the afternoon went down to Church. I got an ice-cream cone. In
the evening we went with Daddy.

September 17. Went to Church and Communion. In the after-
noon Eustacia came up. We went out to the park and all afternoon
we watched them play “Rook” and swim. I got some candy.

September 18. Went to school. After school I got some candy
and walked home with Eileen. In the evening I played with Doris
Jean. After supper I rode Donald’s bike and copied over my English.

September 19. Went to school as usual. In the evening I rode
