Overview
The purpose of this course is to provide guidance with regard
to the most common risk management issues associated with
the practice of anesthesiology.
Course Objectives
At the end of this course, the participant will be able to:
1. Recognize the most common risk management issues
associated with the practice of anesthesiology
2. List risks of poor communication, documentation, and other
factors that make a claim or lawsuit indefensible
3. Identify unnecessary distractions that cause risk in the
operating room
