HOW TO MAKE WAJIK LOPUR

                  Ingredients   :


                      ●  500g of white sticky rice
                      ●  2L of cooking oil
                      ●  1kg of sugar
                      ●  500ml of water

                      1.  In a large bowl, soak white sticky rice in cold water for at least 1 hour. Drain and set it
                         aside.
                      2.  Steam the sticky rice in a hot pot for at least 30 minutes until it‘s cooked well.

                      3.  Put the sticky rice into a rice tray and flatten it carefully. After that, dry it in the sunlight
                         for at least 7 hours.
                      4.  Preheat oil in a frying pan at over medium-high.

                      5.  Deep-fry the dried sticky rice until it‘s golden brown. Then take it out and drain the excess
                         oil.

                      6.  Pour sugar into the frying pan, and heat it until melted.
                      7.  Combine the rice and the melted sugar together. Mix them carefully.
                      8.  Put  the  mixture  into  a  baking  sheet  and  gently  smooth  it  out.  After  30  minutes,  Wajik
                         Lopur is ready to be served.
