EXERCISE 3: COMPLETE THE DIALOG
Farhan : (1) I‘m going to tell you how to make galamai..
Harry : Good. : (2) What do I need?
Farhan : You will need 1kg of glutinous rice flour , 5 old
coconuts , ½ kg of sugar, 1kg of palm sugar, 3L of water
and 5 pandanus leaves.
Harry : All right. And then (3) what should I do?
Farhan : First, boil water, palm sugar and white sugar on high
heat for at least 15 minutes. Stir constantly then set aside.
Next, grate the coconuts and squeeze them with 3L of
water. Set the coconut milk in a large bowl. In another
bowl, mix together a little coconut milk with the sticky
rice flour until they become a (4) well-blended dough.
Harry : (5) What‘s the next step?
Farhan : Pour the rest of coconut milk into a pot with some
pandanus leaves and then boil it on high heat. To get the
milk oily, boil it for (6) at least 2 hours . Then, pour the
melted palm sugar into the coconut milk in the pot. Whip
it gently.
(7) After that, add the dough of sticky rice flour and
coconut milk into the pot. Mix and stir them for at least 5
hours until thickened and smooth. Next, prepare a baking
sheet, then pour the dough and flatten it in it. Let it cool
for at least 30 minutes.

Farhan : Using a spoon, put the dough into a tube-shaped packet
