View management
Hide elements or categories
Showing different options to hide and display items and categories.
Hide in View
If an element or category schould be hidden
permanently in a view, select the item and via
right-click or "Context Menu" select Hide in
View.
Reveal Hidden Elements
Switches on the visibility of otherwise hidden elements
(which is displayed with a red frame around view).
By selection the objects, they can visualised in view
again using features in the Ribbon.
Unhide Element switched on at item level.
Unhide Category switched on for all objects of
this category in the view.
Toggle Reveal Hidden Elements Mode exits
the function again.
NOTE:
Items that are hidden with Hide in View, is switched on via Reveal Hidden Elements. Select
individually, and turn on for the element. Try as far as possible, to control the view of
category. It can be managed much easier via Visibility/Graphics (see section on this further
down).
