Questions that Change Workflow to School Approvers Based upon Answers

Q20 - __Is the PIs Department and those creating the proposal part of a RAS

If the PI’s home department [and those creating proposal are housed in RAS Unit] the proposal can skip
the School approval except in specific circumstances.

 If the answer to 20 is “Yes”, but none of the other questions are “Yes”, the proposal will NOT
route to the School.
 If the answer to 20 is “Yes” and at least one of the other questions is “Yes”, the proposal will
route to the School.
 If the proposal is not being created by a RAS (question 20 is “No”), the proposal will route to the
school no matter what other questions are answered yes.

International and Export Control Questions allow you to provide more information related to the
Proposal. Question 1 provides a _Select Country_ hyperlink when the question is answered as “Yes”.
This will allow you to choose a country related to any work outside of the US.
