Setting up a Proposal Project in EPEX


        1.  Primary - verify that one of the Projects is selected as Primary.

        2.  Title - this field should be same as the Proposal Title. If you need to change the Project Title, contact OSP.

        3.  Department - Compass populates the Department from the Proposal Header and derives
            the Subdivision and Institution from system configuration. If you need to change the Department,
            contact OSP.
            B.  Proposal Professional Setup

        1.  Click the Row Insert/Delete buttons to add/delete a Professional.
        2.  Click the Look up Employee ID icon.

        3.  Click the Look up Department icon.

        4.  Description - this field represents the Employee role.

        5.  Description - this field represents the Reporting role.

              This field is to the right of the first Description field.
        6.  Effort - the percentage of employee’s time that will be dedicated to the Project.

               Effort is a required field.
