WATER TREATMENT EXPERIMENT
Materials : soil , water , two glasses , tissue
First of all pour some water into a glass.Add some soil and mix.Roll the tissue
.The glass with dirty water must be placed on a higher place than the empty
glass.One of the end of the tissue is put into the glass with dirty water and the
other end is put into the empty one.After a while dirty water is filtered into
the empty glass as clean water.Thus the water is purified.
FOSSIL EXPERIMENT
Materials : soil , plaster of paris, water , a leaf ,a dish
The meaning of fossil is explained to the children. They watch a movie about
it.Then they do a fossil experiment together. Put two glasses of soil and a
glass of plaster of paris into a container and then add some water and mix
them. The mixture must be solid so don’t add too much water.Place a big leaf
into a dish then put the mixture on it.Thus the leaf is prevented to get
air.Leave it to dry .Next day it is checked and seen that it is dry.The dried
mixture is taken from the dish gently and observed the shape of the leaf on it.
