I had the great opportunity to bring Nawara
to my family in the north of Sweden for

which I am deeply grateful. Her mother, Abla
II, came from Bou-Salem and was bred by
Raouf Ochi, a Tunisian expert of the breed
with a long family tradition of breeding and
hunting with Sloughis. Nawara’s father, Horr
was taken care of by Olfa Abid, Nawara’s
breeder who is a veterinarian and great

Sloughi fancier when he was wounded, and
the former owner couldn’t take care of his
recovery. Nawara arrived in Sweden on the
National Day, June 6, 2016, together with her
sister Nesma, at the age of 10 months. Their
2-year older full sister Shemes was already

living in Germany.
