Raptor keeps working to hold you more reliably than any other anchor, especially in rough conditions. It knows where you’re anchoring, what’s happening to your boat, and what to do next. It reads the bottom, senses the anchoring force and reacts automatically to keep you locked down until the moment you’re ready to change spots. Legendary Minn Kota durability and innovative anchoring technology make Raptor the only hydraulic anchor that can call itself relentless.
ACTIVE ANCHORING: (Standard on most Raptor models. Optional on black & silver 8' models) Raptor senses when wind and waves pick up and start to threaten your hold. Then it automatically anchors itself back, and you don't have to lift a finger.
AUTO-BOTTOM MODE: (Select models only) Whether you're anchoring into rocks, mud, silt, sand or anything else - Raptor automatically senses the bottom to apply the right hold, with Auto-Bottom Mode. It's just one of four User-Selectable Anchoring Modes on Raptor. You can also activate Soft Bottom Mode for mud and silt, Rough Water Mode in wind and heavy chop, or Standard Mode for normal conditions.
USER-SELECTABLE ANCHORING MODES: - Separate anchoring modes Rough Water Mode: (heavy wind and chop), Soft Bottom Mode: (muddy or silted bottom), Standard Mode: (normal anchoring),
Auto-Bottom Mode: (on Active Anchoring equipped models which automatically delivers the ideal anchoring force by sensing bottom hardness).
