As Jesse rode after Kid Cassidy he came across an old rancher named Gus. "Jesse" said
Gus, "I found a calf that lost its mom, do you think you can take the little guy and try to find his
momma?”
"Yeah Gus I think me and Red can find her". Gus put the calf on Reds back with Jesse and
they headed out to find the little bum calf's mom.
