whether or not your child needs a waiver and the changes in the laws.
Enhancing Classroom Performance Via Mindfulness, Movement and Yoga

Students with and without special needs come the classroom with a variety of both positive and
maladaptive coping skills that can vary according to personality, environmental factors and other issues
that may influence their ability to thrive in a school setting. Participants will actively participate in
techniques and methods to improve attention, focus, overall awareness and self-regulation.
The Angry, Anxious Child: Reaching and Teaching Difficult Students

In this session, participants will explore the 21st century elementary student that is often oppositional
and hard to reach. Educators and parents use terms such as disruptive, distracted, aggressive, off-task
and unteachable. Participants will delve into how to look at these students with a new lens. Join this
session to learn to use a variety of strategies that may help these children begin a more successful job
fulfilling their role being a student.
