Who can apply for a Sanctuary Scholarship?
Any person can apply who is now or previously has been a Protection Applicant.
You must be age 22 on 1st January before the course starts. Preference given to those in the state for 2+ years
Are you required to undertake an English Language exam?
Not necessarily, but you will have to show that you have a sufficient level of English to participate in this course. e.g. you may have undertaken previous education through English. If you cannot provide evidence or demonstrate the required level of English you may have to undergo a language test.
What does the scholarship include?
Full Tuition Fee Waiver
Currently there is no maintenance grant included in this scholarship.
Any Other Relevant Information
The Mature Student Access Certificate (MSAC) is a one-year full-
time pre-degree course designed for mature students who wish to
develop or refresh key learning skills, and to undertake some
foundation level academic studies, before applying directly for a
degree programme
Over subscription to the programme may require applicant to sit an online interview.
