Who can apply for a Sanctuary Scholarship?
Any person with Refugee Status who has been in Ireland less than three years and therefore ineligible for state support.
(this scholarship is not open to people with Subsidiary Protection, Permission to Remain, or Family Reunification)
Are you required to undertake and English Language exam?
No, but you will have to show that you have a sufficient level of English to participate in this course. e.g. you need to have taken the Leaving Certificate Exam or QQI Level 5 or 6 in 2021.

Annual Financial Bursary €3,000
Any Other Relevant Information
§ You must have applied through the CAO prior to 01 May.
§ You should apply with a 2021 Leaving Certificate or a Further
Education & Training (FET) level 5 or level 6 from 2021.

§ If you need to repeat a year you will be charged the EU fee
