Who can apply for a Sanctuary Scholarship?
Any person who is a Protection Applicant (person seeking asylum), or any person with Stamp 4 Permission to Remain, Subsidiary Protection, Family Reunification, or Refugee Status who does not qualify for financial support under the Free Fees Initiative, SUSI or Student Support Scheme, and who wishes to pursue an undergraduate degree course in MTU Kerry Campus in the 2021-2022 academic year.
Also open to applications from migrants who have exceptional stamp 4s or Stamp 3s who do not qualify for financial support under any of the above mentioned schemes.
Are you required to undertake an English Language exam?
If you apply as a Mature Student you may have to undertake an IELTS (or equivalent) English Language Exam if English is not your first language. Please check with the University at this link: Language Requirements – MTU Munster Technological University – Kerry Campus (ittralee.ie)

§ You must have applied through the CAO prior to 01 February, in limited cases Late Applications are accepted before 01 May, but you should check with MTU Kerry Campus.
§ You should apply with a Leaving Certificate, a QQI Qualification, an Access Programme or as a Mature Student applicant.
