2.3 Filling out the Social Housing list application form:
Fill in all your details. Make sure to fully answer all questions to avoid the application being returned to you.
● Part1:Asksforyourpersonaldetails:yourname,address,and date of birth etc. Tip: We recommend that if your partner is not in the country yet, for now tick ‘single’ and leave their details off the application. You can update when they arrive.
● Ifyouareapplyingwithyourpartner,theywillfilloutthepartof the form that says “Applicant 2” all the way through the form.
● Part2:Asksquestionsaboutnationalitydetails.Tick‘Non-EEA’ and the basis of your status e.g. ‘Refugee’, ‘Subsidiary Protection’ ‘Leave to Remain’ ‘Family Reunification’.
● Part3:Asksaboutyourwork.Ifyouarecurrentlyworkingfillin the details. If not working you can say N/A. If this is your ‘local connection’ to the area, important to add.
