I want to be Free Never-Ending Tunnel
I am a girl, Throats parched,
I have aspirations like my brother, Stomachs grumbling,
But that does not suit with my mother, Blank eyes staring up at the sky,
She thinks I should stay home and clean, Waiting for that one drop of water.
I think that is very unfair, Tears filled with pain trickle down,
I also want to pursue my passion, We are prisoners,
I want to get into fast fashion. wanting to break free,
I don’t want to get married, Our lives filled with empty happiness.
I want to be a beautiful bird,
I want to spread my wings and fly away from this society, Anger wells up inside of us
I want to make my family proud, every day, we didn’t ask for this,
But that is only if I am allowed… What did we do?
Why do we deserve it?

But some of us are trapped,
Torn away from feeling euphoria.
Every day we lose an ounce of hope,
