Splintering World Education, a Privilege or a Right?

Fractured pieces of a splintered world, Education should be for all but,
Broken by corruption, war, and violence, For some it’s a privilege,
Beautiful souls scarred by war, For others it’s a right.
Others, malevolent, keeping a stoic silence.
Children cry, people die, Education is the light of our life,
Yet, nothing is done, Education is the key to a successful future,
Homes are bombed, lost are bonds, And recently has been given off of computers.
        Yet, nothing is done.
                                                                       Education should be for all,
A terrorist attack – PTSD, and terrible flashbacks, And should be a high priority for all.
Send in your troops, you’re allowed to attack,
They don’t deserve to live in war, yet they don’t look like us, Education is the building blocks of life,
So, is saving them really worth the fuss? And people shouldn’t strive to get it.

Is that really the world we live in? Aarav Mathur

But we can’t find a way to help those lives that are lost,
It’s not difficult but, as long as it doesn’t affect us, we don’t try Help the Earth

So, ask yourself- what is this world that we live in, The water levels are rising greatly,
Where the latest celebrity news gets more attention than innocent Polar bears are losing their homes,
people going through abuse, And the temperature is going overboard.
Where civil wars are covered up, and the front-page news is a
wardrobe mix-up. The earth is heating and changing,
Where has our righteousness gone? Our justice? Our peace? This is an emergency which is heart-breaking.

Our humanity is crashing down, since we can’t seem to keep the
