and has invested heavily in enabling co-curricular and sports education facilities. The school’s
state-of-the-art sports complex houses two indoor all-weather swimming pools, a multipurpose
hall and facilities for 23 sports including badminton, basketball, billiards, basketball, chess,
cricket, carrom, football, skating, squash, table tennis, tennis and volleyball.

CENTRE LEFT GSN’s path-breaking R&D Centre was established in collaboration with Ken
Ang, director of the Teachers Training College, University of Helsinki, Finland. It is a centre for
researching innovative pedagogies and evaluation and assessment practices to improve students
learning outcomes.

he school’s 129 highly-trained teachers led by principal Brinda Ghosh, deliver a
T specially designed and researched experiential learning curriculum — the Effort-
less Learning Program (ELP) — that integrates the philosophy and pedagogies of Dr.
Maria Montessori, Dr. Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences theory, Bloom’s Taxono-
my into the CBSE syllabus. An alumna of Madurai Kamaraj University, Ghosh served as
an English teacher at Vikasa School Madurai and Welham Girls, Dehradun, headed YPS,
Patiala and was founder principal of JG International School, Ahmedabad and Ecole
Globale International Girls School, Dehradun before she was appointed principal of
GSN in 2017.
