Uzbek treasure
returns home
A huge glazed tile stolen
from the 12th-century
Chashma-i Ayub monu-
ment near Bukhara in
Uzbekistan has been
returned after it surfaced
in a London gallery. The
decorative Islamic
calligraphic tile, which
dates from the 13th
century, is just over half
a metre high and was
stolen in 2014.
