Toric Chronomèter

The first watch designed by Michel Parmigiani, each
new version of the Toric has features which render
it a unique experience. This approach is the driving
force behind this signature haute horlogerie col-
lection, which has come to symbolise both innova-
tion and culture. Its case is inspired by the columns
of Ancient Greece, with this aesthetic taken up by
the gadroons and knurling. The masterpieces of the
past are a fascinating source of inspiration for the
Manufacture because of their ability to become a
part of history, a principle as central to watchmaking
as is the quest for accuracy.
The Toric Chronometer combines these two aspi-
rations in remarkable fashion. As evidenced by the
certification number engraved on the PF331 pro-
prietary calibre, assembled with components of the
highest quality, each Toric Chronometer is unique
and meets the most stringent standards for accu-
racy and reliability. To ensure perfect harmony of
substance and form, Parmigiani Fleurier opted for
a case structure which frames the wrist. The case,
made from white gold or red gold, has been redesi-
gn. The curved contours inject a certain dynamism
into the design. The end of the strap and its attach-
ment have been redesigned to reflect this, and the
lugs given a more functional, ergonomic makeover.
The Toric Chronometer eloquently makes its mark
on the very nature of time. It is an expression of the
taste of the man or woman wearing it, full of the ori-
ginality of a sophisticated piece, perfectly executed.
